SS8G2: Georgia's Modes of Transportation

Georgia has four main modes of transportation: The Interstate Highway System, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Railroads, and the Savannah and Brunswick deep water ports. These ways create jobs (construction, maintenance, etc.), provide businesses with new markets across the nation and globe, and provide consumers more of a variety of goods, such as technology, food, books, toys, cars, etc. Altogether, these modes have greatly expanded Georgia in economy, publicity to the rest of the world, and transportation for Georgians for which we are truly grateful.
